Recently I love watching dramas after work, just to keep my mind fresh.
As I said, I am a hopeless romantic girl, so yeah I love romantic movies, but still, the over-romantic and doesn't make sense one is gross. Ewh.
Couple days ago, I watched Love, Rosie on DVD.
I thought it would be boring, but guess what? It turned out a good romantic drama!
So I want to recap it. Here it goes!
The main actress and actor named Rosie (Lily Collins) and Alex (Sam Claflin). They lived in England in the same neighborhood and have been best friends since 5 years old. They are in the same high school. One day before prom night started, the girl named Bethany (high school queen) asked Alex to go to prom together, but Alex didn't answer immedi
ately and he asked permission from Rosie. Of course Rosie couldn't prohibit him to go with Bethany, though in the deep of her heart she felt jealous and she realized about her feeling towards Alex. On the other side, Rosie was asked by the hottest guy in their school (Greg) as his prom-mate. On the night the prom was held, Rosie had sex with her prom-mate. A few days later, she found out that she is pregnant, but she didn't want to tell Alex because Alex wanted to move to Boston to study abroad and if she told him, Alex would stay in England and he wouldn't be able to achieve his dream. Then Alex moved to Boston and he broke up with Bethany. Alex and Rosie still contact each other. One day, Alex found out Rosie had a baby and he went back to England as soon as he heard that news. Alex didn't get mad to her, instead, he took care the baby (Katie) and loved her like his own daughter. Alex went back to Boston and he dated many girls. One day Greg came back to see his daughter and Greg wanted to marry Rosie. They married but Alex didn't like them to be together. Alex sent letter to Rosie but the one who received it was Greg and Greg kept the letter with him. The content of the letter was to ask Rosie to leave Greg and be with him. Greg cheated and Rosie found out and they divorced. Rosie found the letter and read it. As soon as she read it, she video called Alex but at that time Bethany and Alex were tying the knot soon. In Alex marriage, Rosie made a speech and indirectly confessed to Alex. In the end, Alex realized that Rosie is her true love, the one who can truly understand him and accept him for he is. Alex going back to England and confessed to her.
Their actions were great, especially Lily Collins. Her stare when she sees Sam is deep, and she is beautiful.
