The Alana Hotel and Convention Centre Yogyakarta and The Hyatt Regency

I was amazed at how the hotels in Yogyakarta were built in the large land. Yes, the city is not crowd like Jakarta. There are so many spaces here, unused lands were filled by the wild plants.
I am sure you will be more amazed if you visit The Hyatt Regency near the Alana Hotel. They have 2 swimming pools, garden, and golf course! I guess I have fallen in love by the first sight hahaha.. Yes, such a rare thing, especially in Indonesia to see a huge hotel with such facilities.
Here are the photos of The Hyatt Regency that I took.

The Alana Hotel and Convention Centre Yogyakarta building is also huge. The hotel will feature 264 rooms and suites over three room types, each one adorned with a timeless contemporary design that captures an admiration for Javanese traditions. For meeting planners and large scale event organizers, the convention facilities include 10 meeting rooms and a superb ballroom that can accommodate up to 3000 persons. For both business and pleasure, the hotel will also boast a coffee shop and a lounge, as well as an outdoor swimming pool, a spa and a gym for downtime.. The service is also good and staffs are very friendly. One thing I think the hotel has to improve is the room key. We got overwhelmed every time we wanted to visit our friends in the other floor because you have to tap your room key when you get into the lift and the key is only for the floor of your room. So you can’t go to your friends’ floor if you don’t have their keys. In one other side, it is for security reason. But basically for the service is good. They provide hairdryer in the room (which is so important for women I think! Lol).

Firm Wide Outing - Yogyakarta

Hi guys it is so long time no post anything. Been busy lately and lack of sleep. But yeah here I am again telling you about the things done in my life since my last post.

In August, my company held the annual event and this year it took place in Yogyakarta.
I went there on 15-17 August 2016 by Garuda Indonesia and returned by Sriwijaya Airlines.
Soon after the HR announced that we will go to Yogyakarta, I and some of my friends booked the flight. Fortunately we got the cheap air fare so we ended up our choice on those two giant, trusted airlines in Indonesia.
The flight was so early, at 5.25 am. It means that I should wake up at 3 and go to the airport at 3.30. Thank God I could wake up on time even though I just got 3 hours of sleeping.
I went by taxi to Terminal 3, the new terminal in Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. I have to admit that the architecture was way different from the other 2 terminals they have. It is nice but the airport was not ready yet and the lighting was poor. They really need a better light consultant though.

In short, we flew and arrived at Adisucipto International Airport. The air trip took 1 hour and 15 minutes. It was still early morning when we arrived and like there were no shops or food already opened. We went to Candi Borobudur (Borobudur Temple) and along the trip stopped by Jejamuran Resto to have brunch. The resto was not ready yet, just 4 menus available because we came so early (almost 8 am at that time). So we had no choice but ordered the whole 4 menus. They were: satay mushroom, mushroom with padang sauce, fried mushroom, and omelette mushroom.
Too bad I did not take photo of the food, we just took photo of our team.

Food Review is available on my food blog: menuxvenue.blogspot.com SOON! lol :)

We continued our trip to Borobudur. It took almost 2 hours to get there.
But the view worth the waits. From Borobudur you can see green surround, which you may not see in the city.
The temple itself is amazing. I mean, it was built in 750 AD but the architecture was somehow unbelievable for the people lived on those days to think. Though, it has some restorations in 1975 – 1982 by the government of Indonesia and UNESCO, and was published as the World Heritage Site. No wonder it was count as one of the 7 wonders in the world until 7 July 2007. You may take a look on Why Borobudur is No Longer 7 Wonders.

Actually this was the first time I went to Borobudur, so I was quite excited. But Borobudur surely needs a lot to improve if the government wants to not only increase the number of tourists here but also to make it more beautiful, more tidy and inspire people. Such things are, they need to curb the salesmen in Borobudur. It was pretty serious I think since there were many salesmen on the street selling the Yogyakarta merchandise including the miniature of the temple itself as we walked down from the temple. I thought like there were no shops here so the salesmen were on the street, BUT, there were also merchandise shops if we continued walking to the exit gate. The shops rather be like traditional market, with the tents they have. I could imagine it would be so much better if the government budgeting the people money to build a merchandise shop here, you know, with the Air Conditioner inside etc. But back again, this is Indonesia. It seems to take 20 more years to see merchandise shop like that in Borobudur :)

Borobudur Trip was over by 11.30 o’clock. We went to the hotel to have our lunch and the Firm’s activities began.

It was sooo tiring day because first I just got 3 hours sleeping and had to do the non-stop activities until 10 pm. But since I love experiencing anything I’ve never been before, I felt happy of course! :)

Here is our photo in Borobudur :)

Darkness False Eyelashes Glue

Hi guys! Today I'm gonna review my favorite eyelashes glue: Darkness.
My eye is monolid, while the other eye is double eyelid. It is not a problem until you want to apply eye makeup. At first, I bought Darkness because I saw good review about this glue but not for eyelashes, rather than for making double eyelid. I asked my sister to buy it when she was in Korea, because I had no idea what I wanted from Korea lol.
I tried it as a double eyelid glue, but didn't affect at all. Well, it created double eyelid at first but after I blinked or laughed, the eyelid disappeared again.
Therefore, I decided to use it as false eyelashes glue. The brush is so thin so you may not have any trouble to apply it on the thin false eyelashes string.

Surprisingly the result is amazing! My eyelashes last for more than 12 hours. If any other girls have to keep their eyelashes glue in their bag whenever they go, well, it doesn't apply to me. I am so so happy to see the result!
For you who are still looking for the best eyelashes glue, I can say you should try this one.
You don't have to go to Korea of course to buy this product, it is up in Amazon :)

The Jungle Book

Hi guys! it's been a long day without posting! I have been busy with works and so on. But, now here I am.
Ok let's talk about the latest released movie. Hmm.. we got The Jungle Book from Disney! yeah!
So, perhaps most of you have known that this one is a remake, combining the real kid and animated effect. yup, this one is not a cartoon. Well, it was in 1967.
I watched it couple days a go and it was good!

Mowgli and Bagheera

It is a story about Mowgli, a kid who was left in a jungle alone and then Bhageera (a black panther) found him and took him to a wolf pack to be adopted. It turned to Raksha raised him, feed him and becomes Mowgli's mom. Mowgli was loved by the packs. One day, a tiger named Shere Khan appeared. Shere Khan is the most feared animal in the jungle. He is cruel and knows no love. Shere Khan hates human so much because he was almost burnt by a man which was Mowgli's father. Of course he hates Mowgli so bad. He threat the wolf packs to hand over Mowgli to him, unless Shere Khan would kill the wolf packs. The wolves loved Mowgli so they asked him to run away from the jungle, get to the people, where Mowgli should have lived. But then Shere Khan got so angry he killed Akeela, Mowgli's father and also the wolf packs' leader. It all come the adventure of Mowgli who wanted to revenge to Shere Khan.

If you want to know how Mowgli fight with this cruel tiger, just watch the movie. It was really enjoyable, but I think the acting of  (Mowgli) was not his best act.
One quote I really love is:
"You are not them, you have your own way and you should be that way" well, fact is I forgot of how exactly Baloo said. It is the time when Mowgli told Baloo (the bear) that Bagheera always forbid him to use his trick (a man's way) instead of wolves' way.

The moral values that I got are:
1. don't let the fear gets you down
2. you are special, you don't have to be the same as the others. use your own way to live.
3. A man can be a devil or angel, it is all your choice.
4. don't forget where you came from.

After all, I really really love the wolves especially the wolf's kids! OMG they are soooo adorable and cuteeee! I am gonna buy the dolls in Disneyland for sure! <3 <3

I am gonna rate 7/10 of this film.

Happy watching! :)

Assumptions

It is funny how people always assume. Why do we assume anyway? perhaps because there are no many time to ask people why they did this and that, perhaps it is natural human being to survive.
We don't really know what people thinking exactly, so we ended up assume of their actions.
Well, assumptions can be wrong most of the times.
One simple example is breaking up. My friend (le girl), decided to break up with his boyfriend after 2 years being together. She told him that she couldn't bear his mother anymore, it was pretty clear that his mom didn't like her. The boy didn't see it as a truth, instead, he assumes another thing that made them break up. While, in fact, she really meant her words.
Assumptions can be very confusing and it stresses us out.
So be careful when you want to assume. Collect the evidence or just straightly ask them the reason why they do something to you. If you still can't find the answer, just think positively and forget about it. Trust me your life will change if you do this.
