Urban Decay x Kristen Leanne Review

Hi guys!

According to UD's new launching products: UDxKristenLeanne, so on 3 March 2018, I was invited to Urban Decay event: Makeup Class by Steve Kassajikian. Steve is a UD Global Makeup Artist and you can imagine how happy I was to get the invitation! yay! I was excited because I could learn from a global makeup artist and that's a rare chance, right?

Steve really taught us how to makeup the UD way, using all the UDxKL palettes too of course!
He revealed the techniques he usually work with and I was like WOW! I learned many new techniques that I didn't know before :p

So, this collaboration produces 2 eyeshadow palettes (1 is the basic colors "DayDream Palette", and the other is the "brave" colors called "Kaleidoscope Dream Palette"), 1 highlighter palette (Beauty Beam Highlight Palette) which contains 3 shades of highlighters , 3 lipstick (Cloud9, Spellbound, Bonbon).

Because I have used all the palettes, let me review it :) this is an honest review, no one paid me to write it down. I just want to share my experience with you!

1. Daydream Palette
This one is basic eyeshadow palette. You can find peach and brown colour here, and it is all matte.
The colours are so wearable. Although it is so easy to blend, but I don't really like its powdery texture, which leads to many fall outs.
The colours are so common and very very basic that I think doesn't worth of the price. I mean you can find these colours with better texture in any other brands that is more affordable. There are plenty of good quality but cheap eyeshadows nowadays!

I picked the image from google since I didn't capture it.

2. Kaleidoscope Dream Palette
I love the colours in this palette! I love the shimmery eyeshadows and braver colours. Most of all I fell in love with the shade Leo, it's like holo-unicorn colour (?) I think haha.. The texture also same as the daydream palette.

3. Beauty Beam Highlight Palette
This palette featuring a soft neutral gold shimmer, a warm champagne pearl, and a pretty beige champagne. They are so pigmented because the texture is ultra rich and creamy! I love this one too!

4. Vice Lipsticks
I love Bun Bun shade, because it is nude and wearable color. The other 2 shades are all purple.
The texture is light and not sticky. It is matte and last long!

So here is my look after dolled up with UD products. Photo with Steve! :)

Tadaaa, what do you think about my look? hahaha.. look at dat HIGHLIGHT!! sooo in love

I also tried another UD products, and here I pick my favorite products:
UD moondust single eyeshadow shade Stellar

UD liquid aura

There is no doubt that UD's moondust eyeshadow is everyone's love! the diamond glitter is just too good to be true!

liquid aura can make your makeup glow, a healthy glow finish, which is also everyone's fav look!

After all, I had no regret of participating in this makeup class, because I learned something new.
Psstt, I also bought their powder.. I couldn't resist not to buy any single of their product since I got on the spot discount :'( can you guess which powder I bought? haha!

So have you tried the UDxKL collection? :) I hope my review helps!

See you on my other posts! xoxo
